Watermelon can go from simple to sophisticated in just minutes. Here’s an appetizer that is easy and delicious to make for any summer soiree.
4 cups ripe watermelon, seeded and large diced, chilled
1/2 cup creme fraiche
1/4 cup sweet basil, chiffonade (sliced into very thing strips)
olive oil for drizzling
How to Make
- Divide the watermelon into 12 ramekins or onto small dishes.
- Top each with a teaspoon of creme fraiche.
- Sprinkle basil, salt and olive oil on top and serve immediately.
